Essay on Wild Shrimp Fisheries - 920 Words

Shrimp Fisheries Lena Buchanan MOL 504A Systems Thinking and The Learning Organization Professor Toni Pauls Warner Pacific College November 12th, 2012 Abstract There is an increase of shrimp demand and the wild fisheries and aquaculture shrimp production are in constant competition of who is going to be more profitable. In the last thirty years the aquaculture industry has expanded and there seems to be concern from the wild fisheries about the â€Å"boom and bust† cycles of shrimp production. Some environmentalist; however, have concerns that these two communities with their constant debate is impacting both the sea and the forests. There is no disagreement that the shrimp industry is expanding, nevertheless, there needs to be some†¦show more content†¦World production of shrimp both captured and farmed is around six million tons, about which 60 percent enters the world market. Shrimp is now the most important internationally traded fishery commodity in terms of value, with annual exports of shrimp currently worth more than US$10 billion, or 16 percent of all fishery imports (Gillet, 2008). Because of the high demand for fi sh around the world, both the wild shrimp catch and aquaculture sectors have been blamed for damaging the ocean and land environment. Following is a casual loop for both the wild shrimp fisheries and the shrimp aquaculture. Both industries have a common goal of making profit without regard to the environment, but it seems that the wild shrimp fisheries have the disadvantage of the wild shrimp not reproducing as fast as they are being gathered. America and China - 881 Words

National economics are often adversarial in nature, a global contest where countries seek to gain advantage over their neighbors, all in the name of wealth and gain. America is no stranger to the game; the U.S. has been the world’s economic leader for the better part of a century. China, however, is the leading contender for the economic top-spot (), and America continues playing directly into China’s hand. America’s current trading posture with China is drastically skewed in China’s favor; if America is going to preserve its position as the leading economic power, existing U.S.-Chinese trading agreements will need to be revised, and additional regulations must be introduced to promote balanced dealing. The consequences of losing the†¦show more content†¦In reality, however, trade with China has economically compromised America. Unfair trading has caused U.S. exports to China to diminish, cost the U.S. millions of jobs, and caused the U.S.’s trade deficit to grow to record levels (Scott). Even balanced deals quickly bias to China’s favor through China’s market manipulation strategies. Free-trade, it seems, is neither fair nor impartial when one of the parties is not actually free, as in China’s case. Assuming China will not simply adopt a free-market to level the playing field while it is tilted in their favor, controlled trade should be introduced between the two countries in order to provide a balanced venue and mitigate the impact of state-controlled influence on the free market. At the heart of these issues is one disturbing fact: China does not play by the rules. China’s market is largely a state controlled participant in the otherwise free markets (Dorn 78). The situation has not gone completely unnoticed, in 2012 President Obama announced the creation of a Trade Enforcement Unit, specifically citing unfair trading practices in China (â€Å"Obama Announces†). Describe how you might contribute to a lesson given to a group of seven year old children learning to play percussion instruments. Keeping a group of children aged seven engaged is key, whilst the teacher is discussing and using speech to explain about the instruments my contribution would best be given by demonstrating in turn how the instruments are correctly to be played and demonstrate the sound the instrument makes. Perhaps moving around the class spending a little time with each child as they pass around the instruments to have their own turn. Helping them where needed to make different sounds and to play them correctly. 2. What might your role be in organising, using and maintaining the learning resources, material and equipment for this percussion lesson? Before class I would lay out all the instruments and check to make sure they were in working order and that everything needed to play them was available for it to be played correctly i. Keeping things calm, to avoid any misuse or unnecessary noise of the instruments and speaking politely with the children so they felt they can ask for help or any questions they may have. I would move around the class speaking with the pupils in a respectful polite manner, I believe them seeing good behaviour is a great way to learn how to act. I would encourage any good behaviour demonstrated as reinforcement of this will hopefully encourage more. 4. What strategies might you employ to encourage pupils to behave appropriately? Describe how you might react to incidents of bullying and violence. Being prepared before class, to avoid any delays to the lesson or problems occurring if my attention was to be away from the pupils. I would encourage any good behaviour by praising it or maybe even use of incentives such as a star stamp on the hand when a pupil has been attentive. Should there be any incidences of bullying I would intervene and speak with the children involved individually for two reasons, firstly to try to find out from both sides exactly what happened, and to make them feel able to confide in me and be open and honest if they had any problems. I would log details and report this to the class room teacher, and the situation could be acted on accordingly with punishment made where required to ensure the situation wasn’t to reoccur and to make it known to other pupils that bullying will not be ignored. 5. Describe how you might appropriately observe the physical abilities and skills of a nine year old boy. Dietary Requirements for Pregnant Women †MyAssignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about the Dietary Requirements for Pregnant Women. Answer: Introduction: Research evidences state that pregnant women, not consuming properfoods that meet their dietary requirements often face complications in their pregnancy (Healthed.govt.nz, 2018). According to Morton et al., (2014), data from New Zealand suggests that most pregnant women fail to adhere to the food intake guidelines that have been recommended by the Ministry of Health management. One of the oldest myths in this context that focused on eating for two is no longer followed (Healthed.govt.nz, 2018). Further reports from the Ministry of Health also suggested that pregnant women also fail to abstain from eating foods that are rich in salt or fat content (Radio New Zealand, 2018). One major way by which pregnant women can be encouraged to follow an appropriate diet is by restructuring the existing health education programmes that are related to pregnancy nutrition (Huberty et al., 2013). Involving primary health centres will help to formulate an appropriate plan of action in an effective manner. These education programmes will emphasise on antenatal nutritional requirements and will be successful in increasing the awareness of pregnant women on the food that must be consumed (Lucas, Charlton Yeatman, 2014). In addition, general practitioners, nurses and midwives will also help in formulating dietary plans that meet the nutritional requirements of the target popula tion (Arrish, Yeatman Williamson, 2014). Distribution of educational pamphlets or handouts that follow the recommendations proposed by the Ministry of Health will also enhance their awareness. Furthermore, nutritional counselling conducted by holistic nutritionists will also provide exhaustive information on the foods that should be avoided. Thus, the aforementioned steps will help pregnant women to adhere to the recommended guidelines for their nutrition. Reference Arrish, J., Yeatman, H., Williamson, M. (2014). Interracial Relationships In Film and Story essays

Interracial Relationships In Film and Story essays Kate Chopin depicts miscegenation in her story, but this is concept is introduced differently in the film based upon it. The main character Chopin wrote about, Armand, she describes as being half- black and half-white, and this lineage is plausible considering, as Chopin establishes, his parents met in France, and in France at the time, there was not the problem of segregation. When he came to America to become a slave owner, he marries a woman who does not know her original roots, and so this seems perfect for him. This enables him to blame her for the problems he has because of his color in America. Instead of his white wife being the dominate member of the relationship, as prejudice would assume, Armand, instead, is the aggressive, dominating spouse. When she has his baby, the baby is born black. He accuses her of sleeping with a slave. The movie version shows that the dysfunction came from the white couples who were having marital issues in the film because Warren Maxwell seem ed to have more feeling for the black women that he slept with than for his white partner. The status of white women in both the film and the story compared to that of black women is that white women could not be allowed to do anything, and if they did something that their husbands did not approve of, the would be punished for it. For example, the white women were like puppets, and their husbands the ones pulling the strings. As for black women in the book and in the film, they did not have any choice either, and they had to do what their masters asked for because if they did not, they would be punished worse then these men punished their white wives. In the story of Desirees Baby, the white woman maintained more control over her husband than in the the movie. She did exactly what her husband told her to do in the movie. For example, when she had her baby and her baby was black, in the movie, her husband told her that to go to the s...

The Role of Nursing Theory in Research and Practice Essay

The Role of Nursing Theory in Research and Practice - Essay Example This theory explains the reason that the patients environment is important due to its effect and affectation to a person’s health in a positive or a negative way—attributed with diseases. Providing a therapeutic environment is viewed essential for a person to heal himself (Chen, n.d.). Some examples of the environmental factors affecting health according to Nightingales theory are fresh air, pure water, sufficient food and appropriate nutrition, efficient drainage, cleanliness, and light or direct sunlight. If any of these factors is lacking, it can delay the patients recovery. Nightingale also emphasized providing a quiet, warm environment for patients to recover in. The theory also calls for nurses to assess a patients dietary needs, document food intake times, and evaluate how the patients diet affects his or her health and recovery (â€Å"Florence Nightingale,† 2011) The Nightingale’s concept views a person to have reparative powers and can be affected by the environment. Health on the other hand is the utilization of the person’s power to maintain well-being and is affected by the environment through the utilization of the nursing process by providing fresh air, warmth, cleanliness, and proper diet to facilitate person’s reparative process. The goal of nursing is to put the patient in the best possible condition in order for nature to act. The advent of nursing theories benefited the whole healthcare system by virtue of guidance in the nursing practice through research and empirical studies. Aggleton and Chalmers cited that practicing within the scope of nursing without a theory to underpin is an empty approach often described as ‘practicing in the dark’ (1986 as cited by Mckenna, 1997, p108). Nursing theories therefore provides nursing practice with a systematic basis for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation offering a way of revitalization (Mckenna, 1997, p. 108) As a guide to

Make a title - Essay Example A further analysis of the reconstruction era with respect to its objectives, strengths and weaknesses of the specific plans formulated during the drastic reforms period of American states. During the period 1863-1866, Andrew Johnson and President Abraham Lincoln strongly stood on the proposition of re-instating the South back as fast as they could, but this was hindered with forces of the Radical republicans. The radical Republicans position was just to bar such noble idea from attaining its objective and thus they imposed harsh terms and ensured that the rights of the freedmen were upheld to the latter. The Johnson’s policy was viewed to be moderate and hence seen as underrating American freedmen to children. Lincoln agitated for a nation from discrimination and any other form of segregation towards the nationals. This was an exact contract of the school of thought of Abraham, who could be heard in his speeches to depict an enfranchisement of the freedmen (Roark et al. 159). Johnson was steadfast in lobbying for an equal society where even the positions of leadership and access to natural resources is free and fair for everyone. The election of the Congress in 1866 in the North brought about a paradigm shift of policies. The Radicals took control of the policies, by removing former confederates from power. There was also formulation of policies towards establishing a society free from free labor. There was increased protection of the rights of the freedman, an act formulized through the Freedman’s Bureau. Better contractual terms could now be negotiated besides setting up churches and school for them. The congress further passed the Force Acts, to protect African Americans in the South by ensuring that their rights and privileges prevail at all times. Under the presidential reconstruction, the end of May 1865, President Andrew Johnson announced his strategies towards

The concept of self

The concept of self 1. Self Concept. The concept of self is relatively hard to describe, as the individual person, began to consider himself as an individual person, without considering him as a part of group or a society. Sirgy (1982) described the self concept as the persons reflection of having an orientation or regard to himself as an object. The notion behind the self concept is the ideology that every human life is unique, he or she is individual object and need to be nurtured Solomon,Bamossy,Askergaard, Hogg (2006). Again this concept is very much depend upon the society, where self is living in. In western culture, where there is a individualistic mode of life and in eastern culture, the individual is strictly a part of society or a family, they live in collectivist society. According to Markin (1979) the self concept is a multi dimensional concept, which consists of five components like Ideal Self, The apparent self, the social self and the actual self while Solomon,Bamossy,Askergaard, Hogg (2006) identifies the component of Self concept as Self Esteem, Ideal and real selves, multiple selves, Symbolic interactionism, the looking glass self, and Self Consciousness. Schiff man and Kanuk(2004) identifies the components of Self as, One or Multiple selves, The Makeup of the self Image, the extended self, Altering the self, Virtual personality or Self. Self Esteem Self esteem refers to the positivity of a person; a person with High self esteem is likely to be confident and will be at the centre of attraction and a person with comparatively less self esteem, will consume the products that will make him/her more confident. Peoples with low self esteem tend to shrink their activities in order to avoid humiliation and embarrassment. (Solomon, Bamossy, Askergaard, Hogg, 2006) Real and Ideal selves According to Solomon, Bamossy, Askergaard, and Hogg, (2006) the real self is the current status of a person, with more realistic characters and attributes. While the Ideal self is our Dream to attain a certain position in life, this concept is greatly influenced by the advertisements or role models where people try to have an image of his/her role model. The ideal self of a person influence the level of self esteem in that particular person, by comparing the current status with the ideal status. Schiff man and Kanuk (2004) define ideal self as a state of condition, which consumers prefer to see themselves in Future, while the real self is the position where a consumer sees himself/herself in the current situation. Most people experience a large gap between their actual self and the ideal self, and it affects the self esteem of that peoples, so it is assumed that, this peoples consumer a variety of products which reflects their Ideal self in order to reduce the gap between their actual self and ideal self. In other words, consumption of symbols is a pathway to attain their ideal self image. Multiple selves According to Solomon, Bamossy, Askergaard, Hogg, (2006) Markus and Kunda (1986), Schiffman and Kanuk (2004) a person is having many selves according the situation and according to the peoples he or she interacts with. During these times any one of the multiple self will be active, while other selves remain temporarily dormant. The Looking glass self In this concept, the individual reads, his self image with the aid of the signal and vibration bounced by others in the society. The desire to view and describe ourselves operates like a psychological sonar, which reads and analysis the signals emitting by others. The result can be varied according to the person who judge the individual and how the individual interpreting the signals, Solomon, Bamossy, Askergaard, Hogg (2006) Self Conscious Solomon,Bamossy,Askergaard, Hogg (2006) analyse the self conscious as the assessment of the real self by an individual Altering self With the aid of accessories and makeovers, an individual is trying to alter the self, to become a different self or an improved self, the notion of altering self is the affinity of the individual to express their individuality by creating a new self, at the same time maintaining the real self (Schiffman and Kanuk, 2004). The Extended Self Extended self is defined as the usage of props and setting by an individual to define their social roles, they consider these props and setting as an integral part of their selves. Solomon, Bamossy,Askergaard, Hogg (2006) (Schiffman and Kanuk, 2004). The importance of self concept analysis in the field of business was described by Sirgy (1982). He analysed that consumers tend to buy products, which relates to the actual self of themselves. While Adam et al (1993) outlined that with the consumption people are projecting a picture of selves to themselves and to others. Consumers tend to buy products, in which they see their actual self. Graeff(1996) found that the consumers perception about a particular brand is entirely depend upon the perception closeness with the brand image and the self image. Solomon,Bamossy,Askergaard, Hogg (2006) analyse that consumption activities are a kind of self definition of an individual and by consumption the individual project the consistency between their values. Through this Essay, the researcher is interpreting own the perception about Self concept to consuming for self esteem for attaining Ideal self image and multiple self. So it is Important for a marketer to understand the Self concept of the consumer, in order to cater the needs and requirement of the consumer at its best. In the consumption diary, the researcher denotes the passion and dream to be a privileged personality, (p.9, 18 and 19) who enjoys the luxury of having a private jet like Mr.Mukesh Ambani or to flying in First and Business class cabins, to buy a car for himself and for the family with his fist salary the researcher is also keen to get a leather jacket like the participants of MTV roadies, all these facts implies the desire to attain an ideal self image, while the researcher also aware of the real self, the researcher comments about his current and jobless situation (p, 16, 9) The researcher is also afraid of his physical appearance while purchasing Jackets, can be interpreted as his immense self conscious while making a purchase or can be interpreted to the lack of self esteem, with these details, it is assumed that the researcher lacks consider amount of self esteem as the gap between his real self and ideal self is too big (Solomon,Bamossy,Askergaard, Hogg.2006) 1. Cultural Theory In the cultural theory, the researcher analysis the affect and influence of his religious ethical or rituals values in his consumption pattern. Different academics, described the concept of culture as; Solomon,Bamossy,Askergaard, Hogg (2006) commented that, Culture is a prism, through which an individual analyse products and try to make their sense out of their own and other peoples consumer behaviour. The culture of a particular individual determines the priority of the purchase and attitudes towards different situations, activities, and substances. Again the influence of the culture is varied according to the geographical locations. The western culture implies more on the individualistic method of consumption, while eastern culture emphasise the importance of collectivism. (Jamal, et al 2003) describes the components which makes the cultural decisions, he views that the values and the ethical believes are the two major components which determines the cultural decision of an individual. Hoffstede (1991) analysis that the culture is biased according to the culture and the condition in which an individual is raised and lived through and these conditions determine the consumer pattern of the individual. Sood and Nasu (1995) comments that the nationality of a person also can influence the formation of the culture and values. The moral conducts are described according to two methods, the deontological and the technological method According to the deontolical method, the moral conducts and the religious beliefs are inherited to a person from the ancestors or from the previous society. (Singhapakdi and Vittel, 1993 and Murphy and Laczniak, 1981). The religion is described as a bunch of moral codes, which governs the conduct of an individual or a group of individuals or a society (Wines and Napier, 1992). Religion is considered to a unified system of beliefs and practices relative to sacred things (Emily, cited in Nejdet Delener, the effects of religious factors on a perceived risk in durable goods purchase decisions, 1990). Religiosity can be stricter than religion as religiosity is the degree of belief that a person hold in his ideas and life (Delener, 1991). The diary (pp. 15) describes the affinity of the researcher to have a traditional food, on the day of religious festival, it says in the dairy that, other room mates were not bothered about the special lunch on that auspicious day of Bakrid, but the researchers mind constantly pushed him to make a move or initiative to make a special dish. This shows his loyalty to the tradition and routine he has been keeping since ages, even not at his home he still strive to make full out of that belief and the researcher go Lidl and prepares food for himself and to the room mates. From the diary abstract (pp. 11) tells that the researcher wanted to have a body massage as his back aches due to the lifestyle he maintains in UK, The researcher is exceptionally cautious about the morality and the cultural and ethical values he inherited from the ancestors, as he avoids doing a body massage, as the massage parlour was ran by women, and his culture doesnt allow him to be touched by other women. This shows the influence of ancestral and the societal situation where the researcher raised, when it comes to morality of the researcher. The religion is one of the main factor which influence the food consumption and the degree of affect is directly proportional to the extent of influence that religion made in that person and how far he follows the religion. Islam is a religion governed by a set of rules and customs which is evaluated and judged by five pillars, consuming halal food is a must for religious people in Islam. The consumption of Halal meat is not an automated process among Muslims. They consume halal food as a form of personal conviction and it is observed that (Bonne, et al 2007). Unlike in the past, the social and the political presence Muslims are increased and they began to ask for the halal labelled meat (Riaz and Chaudry, 2004) Throughout the Diary, the researcher described about the restriction of consuming certain food in his new surroundings. The researcher has demonstrated the precaution that he makes, while he makes a decision to dine outside his house. Another loyalty of the researcher, towards the religion can be seen when he visited a Super Market See Woo where he see the Pork and the halal chicken are served together, and he feels like two opposite poles are served together. From the exact diary words of the researcher it is understood that, it has generated a gross feeling in the mind of the researcher, (pp.11.) On the other occasion the researcher, was doubtful about a food (P), he bought from a shop, and his mind was constantly asking him that, is it allowed food? The researcher clarified his doubt to the vendor before he tasted it, that is that food halal one or not? The researcher felt constant insecurity while consume food outside his house, this kind of insecurity has been described by Nedjet Delener in 1990, Religious individual tends to perceive higher risks during the consumption or while making consumptio n decision, while less religious peoples feel less secure and tends to have comparatively low degree of risks during their consumption decision. From these facts mentioned above, it is assumed that the researcher is highly influenced by religious rituals and symbols while making a purchase decision. 2. Decision making theory In the decision making process the researcher is focusing on the problem solving perspective of Decision making. The consumer decision making process is not a single process, it is associated with many factors (Henry Assael, 1998) The Idea of developing the problem solving perspective of decision making theory is the assumption of dominant school that, the consumer as an Cognitive object while making consumption decision, (Schiff man and Kanuk, 2004). The decision-making perspective holds that buying behaviour results from consumers engaging in a problem-solving task in which they move through a series of stages (John.C.Mowen, 1988, .p15) According to this concept, the consumer moves through a series of Seven stages, before making a purchase decision.(Roger et al, 2001) need recognition. Need recognition occurs when there is a alarming difference between the actual self and the desired self (Solomon et at, 2006, and Roger et al, 2001, Henry Assael, 1998). Recognition of needs happens when a person brazen out with a problem or deficiency (Schiff man et al 2004). Henry (1998) comments that the need in a person can be aroused with variety of inputs such as the past experience of the customer. It is true that the needs are often spurred by the marketing efforts, butThe role of a marketer in creating a need, is not to manipulate the consumer, but to make understand the consumer what his need is, and to direct towards a specific brand, even a pre existing demand is there (Solomon et al, 2006) Pre purchase search From the diary extract (P..) the researcher is trying to obtain the prices of telephone, which the researcher wanted to buy, to call home country. During the pre purchase search, the researcher opts for checking the available information about the telephone through eBay. In order to get a vague idea about the price of telephone sets in United Kingdom, the researcher thought it is best way to search online, and particularly eBay, as a form of external information got from the room mates; it was easy for the researcher to choose eBay for best deals and for an outline about prices. Information search is the mode of survey, which a consumer employs to make an appropriate purchasing decision. ( Solomon etal, 2006) Pre purchase search begin with recognition of need that can be rectified with consumption. There are two kinds of search sources, the internal information source and the external information source. Internal source is the information in the memory from the previous experience of purchase. Past experience gives a huge amount of information about the current choice. If the consumer lacks the past experience, he or she will start searching actively for the information from the external sources like Advertisements and websites, whichever is possible (Schiffman etal 2004) Roger etal (2001) added one more source of information that is accidental or situational information, which the consumer gets by chance or by situation. Here comes the importance of Marketing communication. The correct market communication at the correct time and place, will let the consumer to understand the details about the product and which lead the consumer to get attracted towards the product. Evaluation of alternatives From the diary (p) the researcher demonstrated a perfect example for evaluating the alternatives by searching for best deal for Air tickets to India. After listening to the different fares, the researcher began to evaluate the alternatives, by comparing which one to go for and how it benefits him as a consumer. By comparing the possible alternatives, the researcher decided to nullify the bad deals and go for the best one. This stage is the most time consuming stage for a consumer that is to evaluate the options available from the information, before making a purchasing decision. The modern consumers are flooded with thousands of choices with thousands of brands waiting for the attention of the potential consumer. Solomon et al (2006). At this point of time, the consumers ask themselves a question that, what are my options? and Which is the best? consumers use either memory or the external source to sort the option (roger et al 1998). Decision making process. Throughout the diary, the researcher demonstrated the quest for best deals when purchasing the house holds. According to Schiffman et al (2004) there are three mode of purchase, they are Trial Purchase, repeated purchase and Long term commitment purchase. Where a trial purchase comprised of buying product for first time in little quantity to check the product directly, if the product appeared satisfactory, it is likely to buy that product again for consumption, which is termed as Repeated buying and this mode of repeated buying can lead the customer towards loyalty to that particular brand, which leads to the Long term commitment purchase. While Roger et al (2001) considers there are two phases of purchase behaviours among consumers. The first phase is switching retailer or rely on other mode of retailing such as television or internet or catalogs while the second phase consist of switching the models or the products within the same stores. This phase is aided with the capabilities of the sales person the arrangement pattern of the product to attract the attention of the consumer. The cons umer moves with an agenda during the first three stages of decision making, while Roger argues that, the stage four is not under the complete control of the consumer, as many other factors influence the purchase decision. At this phase, the role of a marketer is important; the consumer mind will be swinging in the confusion of which product to chose. By understanding the consumer behaviour a marketer can lead the consumer the product which they wanted. The way of arranging the product is also an important factor to induce an impulsive purchase at in store condition.( Roger et al, 2001) Consumption Consumption can occur either immediately or delayed, and through consumption the satisfaction of the consumer can be derived. Consumption of a product is depending up on the promotions and offers a consumer can get, if there is best deal offers, it is likely to stock the products, for future use. (Solomon, et al) Post consumption evaluation After the purchase, the consumer starts evaluating the product, if the performance of the product matches the consumer expectation it is likely for the consumer to get satisfied, and vice versa (Schiffman et al, 2004) Roger et al argues, it is important to understand how the consumer use the product, if the consumer abuses the product, it is less likely for the consumer to get satisfied with the product. For making the consumer understand about the usage of the product, to prevent dissatisfaction, the company introduced variety of Instructions and Warranties. With this facilities it is likely for a customer to opt for a re purchase.

Canterbury Tales Essay :: essays research papers

In Geoffrey Chaucer’s â€Å"The Canterbury Tales†, many characters suffer from Dante’s â€Å"Seven Deadly Sins†. I have chosen to write about The Skipper, for his avariciousness and wrath; The Miller for his pride and avariciousness; and also The Franklin for his gluttony, avariciousness and slothfulness. I have found examples for these in â€Å"The Prologue† by Chaucer. The Skipper is avaricious and also suffers from wrath. He is avaricious because he would gain someone’s trust so they would do business with him and then he would steal from them and cheat them. In â€Å"The Prologue†(pg. 103 lines 407-408), it reads, â€Å"He’d drawn at Bordeaux, while the trader snored. The nicer rules of conscience he ignored†. He also suffered from wrath, anytime he had extra people on his ship, he would make them walk the plank. In â€Å"The Prologue†(pg.103 lines 409-410), it says, â€Å"If, when he fought, the enemy vessel sank, he sent the prisoners home: they walked the plank†. The Miller was inflicted by pride and avariciousness. He was very prideful. He would boast about anything that he could do well. In â€Å"The Prologue†(pg. 107 lines 557-558), it says, â€Å"Broad, knotty and short-shouldered, he would boast, He could heave any door off hinge and post†. He was an avaricious man. He would steal grain for himself. In â€Å"The Prologue†, it says, â€Å"His was a master-hand at stealing grain. He felt it with his thumb and thus he knew its quality and took three times his due†. (Pg. 107 lines 570-572) The Franklin suffered from gluttony, lust and slothfulness. He ate all the time. He had way too much food and it was all for himself. In â€Å"The Prologue†, it reads, â€Å"His bread, his ale were the finest of fine, and no one had a better stock of wine. His house was never short of bake-meat pies†¦..†(Pg. 101 lines 351-354). He lusted for pleasure. That is all he wanted from life. In â€Å"The Prologue†, it says, â€Å"He loved a morning sop of cake and wine, he lived for pleasure and always have done†. (Pg.

buy custom Nurses Associate Certification essay

buy custom Nurses Associate Certification essay Nurses associate certification with pay increase, better-paying jobs, respect and improved self-image. However, not all benefits of certification are real. Some people may question the rationale of a nurse having to incur additional expenses in terms of time, money and energy merely to put additional initials in front of his name. This, though, is not where the main problem lies. The main problem is with the perceptions associated with certification. The state of affairs in nursing profession is far from settled and the certification designs to be adopted in future certifications remain uncertain. Tenney, Demoucell and Wians (1992). Woods (2009) notes that in the year 2001, 341,000 certifications were made, spanning in 134 specialties. The certifications were made by 67 different certifying organizations. The main reason for this high number of certifications was the marketing potential that nurses believed, and continue to believe certification has. However, these figures are an indication of a reduction in the number of nurses who have been seeking certification since the early 1990s. According to recent research, specialty nurse training and education can improve the quality of care given to patients. Specialty nurse certification can also improve the job satisfaction of nurses, leading to a sense of empowerment. Additionally, it may result in positive effect collaboration among team members in the healthcare system. Despite the potential for these rewards to accrue to nurses, there is lack of extrinsic value to people who are in the nursing profession, making it unlikely that a higher number of nurses will be attracted into certification programs unless opportunities for recognition and greater compensation are put in place by administrators. Certification brings about intrinsic value to nurses. Intrinsic values are non-tangible benefits such as indication of professional growth, validation of knowledge, personal satisfaction, indication of attainment of a practice standard and a feeling of personal accomplishment. It fails to bring about extrinsic benefits. Although intrinsic rewards by far outnumber intrinsic rewards, extrinsic rewards appear to be the main driving force that motivates nurses into deciding whether to become certified or not. Some of the most referred to extrinsic rewards include increased knowledge, enhanced collaboration between member of the medical profession and improved skills. This research sets out to find out whether nurses are motivated by extrinsic or intrinsic rewards with the basis of investigation being the perceptions that dominate the nurses understanding of extrinsic and intrinsic rewards. This research will be beneficial to all stakeholders of health care, especially those involved in setting up of policy frameworks in the nursing profession. For nurses, this research will shed light on the real benefits of getting specialty certification. For employers, the findings of this research will be useful in setting up frameworks that ensure that the needs of nurses are met, the most important of which is recognition of those nurses who have dedicated their time, money and energy into efforts to get specialty certification. Significance of the Problem. Certification, in most cases, is a matter of a nurses individual efforts. Even in cases where reimbursements and additional payments are made for nurses who pursue certification, this scenario is more of an exception rather than a rule. When nurses register for certification, this results in shortage of nurses, increased call duty on nurses days off and limited time spent on oneself and family. There is need for an assessment to be made on the true cost of certification and whether the accruing benefits are worth the efforts made. Against this backdrop, this research may be a good reference point for policymakers in the healthcare sector. Through proper policies, some fundamental stressors that nurses encounter can be eliminated and nurses may get better rewards for their efforts at certification. Wade (2009) notes that a better understanding of the enticements and interventions that would make more nurses seek certification certified can prove beneficial to the health care industry, patients and the nursing profession. For the nursing profession, the findings of this research have very far-reaching implications. Wade (2009) reports fears that there are too many nurses leaving the profession and at the same time, there are too few nurses entering the profession. However, he expresses the hope implied by recent researches, which indicate that nurses who feel empowered in their work environments, and who are recognized for their contributions are likely to stick to their profession. Certification is one of the ways through which the experience, cmpetence, knowledge and contribution of nurses to the healthcare sector is recognized. Therefore, argues Wade (2009), it has the potential to bring about retention of nurses in the profession. By addressing the issue of perception towards intrinsic and extrinsic rewards of certification, this research highlights the true meaning of this process, what it takes to become certified, the policy implications and most importantly, the potential of certification to bring about satisfaction and retention of nurses. This research has far-reaching theoretical implications on Benners theoretical model, which ranks proficiency from the level of a novice to that of an expert (Benner, 1984 cited in Wade, 2009). According to this model, nurses gain knowledge and develop skills of nursing practice by passing through five levels: novice, advanced beginner, competent nurse, proficient nurse, and expert nursing professional. When nurses opt out of the nursing career on account of lack of satisfaction, Benners model may be seen to be an ineffective tool for explaining this scenario. When there is a proper assessment of the certification factor in a research such as this one, Benners theoretical framework becomes a credible tool of explaining career progression in the nursing profession. Purpose of the Study The aim of this study is to find out whether nurses are motivated to seek certification by extrinsic benefits or extrinsic rewards. The case study method of inquiry will be used will be used to gather qualitative data for purposes of identifying the reasons that motivate nurses into seeking certification. The analysis of these findings will be done in such a way that perceptions about the rewards of certification will be highlighted. Perceptions that nurses have concerning certification determine how motivated the feel to undertake a certification education and exam. For this reason, any study of intrinsic and extrinsic benefits of nursing, whether perceived or real, has to focus on what nurses perceptions about certification really are. The main units of analysis will include The nature of perceptions of empowerment among nationally certified nurses Relationship between professional characteristics and clinical nursing expertise: focus on the role of certification. Perceptions on the value of specialty nursing certification In each unit of analysis, focus will be on the motives that drive nurses into seeking specialty certification and these professions perceive the relationship between empowerment through certification and career progression as described in Benners theoretical model. An assessment will be made on the likelihood of a perceived intrinsic or extrinsic reward driving a nurse into seeking specialty certification. Different relevant case studies will be analyzed based on the gaps in knowledge indicated in the literature review section. Does specialty certification give intrinsic and extrinsic rewards that are necessary for build-up of proficiency from the level of novice to expert among nurses? Definition of Terms Extrinsic benefits-these are the benefits that accrue as extra rewards upon compliance by professionals. They include increased pay, free food at the hospitals cafeteria, free long-distance calls over the hospitals cyber caf, transport, remuneration packages for overtime-hour schedules and so on. Intrinsic benefits Intrinsic values are non-tangible benefits such as indication of professional growth, validation of knowledge, personal satisfaction, indication of attainment of a practice standard and a feeling of personal accomplishment. Intrinsic benefits are very integral sources of job satisfaction. Specialty certificationthis is the mechanism through which the nurses are recognized for their professional qualifications, practice and experience, mainly for purposes of validating clinical competency and bringing about professional growth. Theoretical Framework. Benners theoretical model that involves ranking proficiency from the level of a novice to that of an expert will guide this study. According to this model, as nurses continue to develop skills as well as to gain knowledge through nursing practice, they pass through five levels of proficiency. This theory is based on the proposition that each level is always built heavily upon the experiences that have been generated at lower levels (Benner, 1984). The different levels of nursing described by Benner include novice, advanced beginner, competent nurse, proficient nurse and expert level. These levels are a reflection of a nursses movement from the reliance on abstract principles to repeated use of past education and experience (Benner, 1984) Without a proper understanding of the complexities of acute situations that tend to be very perplexing, a novice nurse is very limited to routine task performance that requires little analysis. A step up from the level of a novice, advanced beginners may have the ability to perform simple emergency tasks within a department such as triaging very simple, straightforward cases as well as recognizing and identifying normal variability in vital signs that are common in clinical scenarios. However, practitioners at the level of an advanced beginner may still be mislead by atypical scenarios, so competent nurses apply critical thinking and analytical skills while assessing multiple relevant elements present in patients condition in order to devise treatment plans encompassing both short-term and long-term goals (Benner, 1984). In Benners theory, emphasis is on education and experience as key factors of helping a nurse move from the level of a novice to that of an expert nurse. In the first unit of analysis entitled The nature of perceptions of empowerment among nationally certified nurses, all the levels of professional development that Benner outlines will be the main reference point. Instances where notions of empowerment do not coincide with the needs of professional growth as outlined by Benner, then such notions will be considered to be perceptions. From this point, it will be easy to refer to these perceptions as the basis of determining their influence on nurses decision to seek specialty certification. Benners theoretical framework will also be used to research the second unit of analysis entitled, Relationship between professional characteristics and clinical nursing expertise: focus on the role of certification. The role of certification in each of Benners stages of professional growth will be succinctly defined. A qualitative analysis of different case studies will make it easy for various points at which nurses start to perceive the need for specialty certification to be identified. In the third unit of analysis, Perceptions on the value of specialty nursing certification, focus will be on the effect of certification towards nurses attitude towards challenges in the process of becoming experts. Although the relationship between specialty certification and competence is yet to be examined by researchers in the medical field (Kendall-Gallagher 2009), there are many case studies from which analysis can be made on these relationships. This research will make use of such secondary data in order to derive analyses and arrive at findings. Moreover, the relationship between competence and safety of patients in the hands of caregivers, which in recent years has attracted a large body of research information, will also be explored. Assumptions and Limitations. The most fundamental assumption in this research is that the research findings of all the research studies where secondary data will be gathered will be accurate. It is impossible for abstract notions used by novice nurses to be quantified, which is why the qualitative method suits this research best. Moreover, at the level of a novice, a nurse may lack exposure to the understanding of the notions of empowerment as they apply to more experienced nurses who are seeking specialty certification. They may also follow the crowd when registering for specialty certification exams. The accuracy of analyses derived from this groups information may be contested. In the first unit of analysis, perceptions will be derived from lack of congruency between notions of empowerment and the need for professional growth. In this case, the respective nurses will be considered to be making moves towards certification using the wrong arguments. However, there could be other underlying motivating factors that may which lie outside the scope of this research. Summary Paragraph. The need to create a work environment that is conducive to nurses is an important issue in healthcare. Nurses, like all other professionals, love opportunities and if they believe that certification brings them closer to where professional opportunities are, they should be encouraged to seek certification. This goes a long way in analyzing researches that have been done before relating to the nursing professional environment, with and without certification. Within this environment, an analysis of nurses perception s towards specialty certification is made. Although it is a nurses sole discretion to decide why to get certification and why not to do so, this professional decision is of national significance, something that this research seeks to exemplify. Management Of Staff And Volunteers Social Work Essays

Management Of Staff And Volunteers Social Work Essays Management Of Staff And Volunteers Social Work Essay Management Of Staff And Volunteers Social Work Essay This essay will show my apprehension of staff development, support and supervising in a supported lodging undertaking context. This will mention to theoreticians relevant to my professional pattern and include appendices of work topographic point supervising proformas. I am a support worker/project worker in a supported lodging unit in Nottingham, for 13 female immature adult females between the ages of 16 -25 old ages, are referred from Housing Aid. The service users are stateless and from assorted state of affairss such as, household dislocation or referrals from the Care system and their basic demands are addressed in an interview before referral. The procedure of enlisting starts with publicizing the station. There are about three hebdomads between the advert traveling out and the shutting day of the month. Job advertizements include electronic mails, every bit good as advertisement to the general populace in newspapers and on the wireless, Television or cyberspace. This will guarantee that appliers have adequate clip to have an information battalion by mail and have clip to set their application together. Tyler, Hoggart and Merton, ( 2009 ) suggests that a good director takes the duty of the direction and leading from the enlisting and choice procedure to do certain that the right campaigners are selected for the function. All appliers must have the same information bundle, be offered the same sum of clip to use, reply the same choice standards, and be asked the same interview inquiries. The choice standards must be the footing for make up ones minding the successful applier. Legislation needs to implement and guarantee that it is embedded in all the young person proviso every bit good as applied to members of staff is the equality act 2010. The equality act is place the responsibility on employers non to know apart anyone because of characters such as sex, race, faith or, disablement ( Appendix 1 ) . This information can non be shared with anyone including other members of the direction squad. Panel member s function is to maintain inside informations of employment procedure confiden tial. Committee members or other appliers talk to panel members about these rules before get downing the employment procedure ( Yapa, 2010 ) . The choice procedure falls into two parts, the first portion it is retained by the administration for publicizing the vacancy for short list intents. The 2nd portion is sent straight to human resources and usage for equal chances monitoring intents. On the twenty-four hours of the shutting day of the month for application, the director reexamine the receive application and buttocks campaigners for the qualities the occupation requires. This procedure is besides recorded on the short list to be informed and it depends on the figure of campaigners shortlist will be drawn up. Letterss will be sent to those selected for the interview reding them with the clip, day of the month and location of the interview. An lineation of the interview format shall besides be provided. However, should a larger panel be appropriate the figure of interviewers shou ld non transcend up to five ( SVP, 2007 ) . All these signifiers must be retained for six months after the successful campaigners has been selected for the station of short list of campaigners who are successfully at the first interview will be joined up and the 2nd interviews will be conducted. Prior to appointment mentions it shall be taken up by utilizing the mention petition missive plus all the necessary cheques for illustration condemnable record cheque. The successful campaigner should be informed that this will be taking topographic point and should candidate refused to supply this information or give out should be in nominated from the choice procedure. If non other shortlisted campaigner is suited for the place the station to be re-advertised ( SVP, 2007 ) . Tyler, Hoggart and Merton, ( 2009 ) states it is of import that initiation programme guarantee that the right campaigners are selected for the station. The function should affect staff development, supervising and public presentation reappraisal. These outlines the commissariats to set in topographic point guarantee that staff members have an up-to-date capacity edifice accomplishments that underpins the work with immature people. It is the director s duty to do certain that new employees received at thorough initiation about the administration. It is of import that clip accomplishments are met and that employee fit enough the mark upon completion of each stage. A transcript should be given to the employee and the original kept on the personal file ( Pritchard, 2000 ) . Once in the station support is provided on a regular basis and new employees are given extra support as they settle into the station. It is given by their directors and reflected on as portion of the provisional perio d. All employees are capable to 6 months probation period during which either party can end their employment at hebdomads notice. As portion of the probation period, assessment interview should take topographic point at three months and a concluding appraisal should take topographic point at five months. These meeting should be recorded and the notes are held on the employees file. Within 12 hebdomads of the successful campaigners start day of the month director of the new appointees must finish a written statement of footings and status of employment. The new employees and the line director should retain a transcript while a farther transcript shall be sent to the human resources Department, along with a transcript of the occupation description, the individual specifications and campaigners application signifier ( SVP, 2013 ) The most indispensable accomplishment for a dark undertaking worker is the experience of working with vulnerable grownups on a one-to-one footing. It is ideal as a cardinal worker, to hold the relevant professional makings or similar preparation, and have a good working cognition of back uping a scope of vulnerable grownups from diverse backgrounds ( Appendix 2 ) . It is an advantage besides his to hold the experience and good working cognition of supported lodging rules and best pattern in lodging direction e.g. public assistance benefits and Supporting Peoples certification. The back uping people programmes ( SP ) provide support through the lodging benefit system are aimed to back up for people to populate independently ( Homeless, 2012 ) . In my undertaking, St Vincent de Paul ( SVP ) Ozanam House, there is a formal agreement which enables each member of staff to discourse their work on a regular basis with another more experient member of staff. At SVP, the undertaking it intends to put out the values and rules and policies underpinning the administration to staff supervising to place a solution to jobs, better pattern and addition and apprehension of work related issues. It is besides indispensable to hold good verbal and written accomplishments and to be able to do competent instance notes ( Appendix 2 ) . To advance quality attention working with immature people enables employees to authorise the client group and assist them to develop the accomplishments and assurance to look after them or to do informed picks ( Pritchard, 2000 ) . All supervising pattern in the inn have three nucleus maps and the purposes are to supply support to staff in the workplace, provide professional and personal development and promote quality attention. The undermentioned guidelines should be followed to all staff to hold one formal supervising session at least one hr continuance every two months. Supervision clip should be planned and held in private and shall be wholly confidential. Harmonizing to Kadushin ( 1992 ) province the maps theoretical account of supervising as the treble instruction, disposal and support theoretical account besides works for non-managerial supervising. Kadushin s model oversee the plants of supervising in administrative is to guarantee attachment to policy and process. This model explains in supportive supervising the primary job is worker morale and occupation satisfaction. Staffs are seen as a assortment of job-related emphasiss which, unless they have help to cover could s impact their work. The three e lements overlapped because they flow one into another, to take one component it becomes less effectual on the jobs in educational supervising are worker ignorance in sing the cognition, attitude and accomplishments required to make the occupation ( Pritchard, 2000 ) . Puting aims with assessment are SMART Particular, Measurable, Agreed, Realistic and Timed. Specific marks can be used in assessment or supervising is aimed to measure on the marks outcomes whether it is working or non is ongoing with certification required. Appraiser is prepared for a sometimes a hard meeting is to be trade with this instantly and to guarantee the appraise are reassured and the relationship is maintained ( T able 2 ) . Table 1 Supervision Harmonizing to Thompson, ( 1994 ) on brooding pattern is the NAOMIE ( Needs, Aims, Methodology Objectives, Implementation and Evaluation ) is a pattern theoretical account for planning, monitoring and measuring young person work. This system identifies the barriers in anti-discriminatory pattern on working together on issues of inequality, favoritism and subjugation. Harmonizing to Sch A ; ouml ; n s work ( 1983 ) on brooding pattern are the relationship between professional cognition and acquisition. This has given the event of managerialism on the marks of public presentation are indexs on equality, diverseness and authorization ( Thompson, 2007 ) . Supervision clip should be taken while on responsibility, but at a clip that is convenient to all the staff that are on responsibility. Many directors like to do notes during supervising but all note taking points should be agreed between supervisor and employee beforehand. It is of import for staff in this context to hold good interpe rsonal accomplishments, including and being an empathic and good hearer able to discourse hard subjects in a sensitive manner ( Appendix 3 ) . Supervision and assessment of the procedure which offer support develop the cognition and accomplishments and values of single. The intent is to assist staff to better the quality of work on what they making and accomplish agreed aims and results. These systems are put in topographic point for all staff within a scene this includes all lasting, impermanent, full-time or parttime staffs. Appraisal is a procedure and consistently recorded appraisal for the staff public presentation and development demands. The purpose of an assessment system helps the staff member to organize an nonsubjective position of their past public presentation every bit good as encourage better public presentation for the hereafter ( East Sussex, 2013 ) . Appraisal is a procedure and consistently recorded appraisal for the staff public presentation and development demands. The purpose of an assessment system helps the staff member to organize an nonsubjective position of their past public presentation every bit good as to be encouraging better public presentation for the hereafter. This portion of the procedure is address in a professional mode to let giving their positions to hold on accomplishable marks in which the work can better ( infed, 2011 ) . This system provides a opportunity to speak about the person s public presentation every bit good as wider internal and external affairs and a good chance to measure staff motive degrees. For illustration, through the meetings the supervisor identifies may see marks of neglecting involvements or deficiency of enthusiasm from the occupation. This is a two manner meeting helps a supervisor and chance to reexamine their on the job pattern every bit good as feedback. Appraisal meeting are he ld at least one time a twelvemonth and it is of import that the assessment programs beforehand familiarise with the administration policy on preparation. This ensures they can hold on what they need to seek farther. Any issues raised joined the formal assessment shall be followed up and monitored during more regular meetings. The meeting shall be conducted in a familiar topographic point where they feel comfy traveling their working hours. The country should be quiet off from other staff and distractions ( infed, 2011 ) . The assessment should see the undermentioned things before the meeting such as accomplishments and countries for betterment during last meeting, read through the supervising notes throughout the twelvemonth, look into the identified development demands for the valuator and garner other people s feedback ( Appendix 4 ) . Harmonizing to Heron s work ( 1990 ) is a model which can help supervisors in going aware of the different intercession their usage. These six types of intercessions merely have intending if they are rooted in attention and concern for the single supervisee. The effectual supervisor does non deny his or her power and authorization but utilize it to guarantee that the supervisees that he or she is clear about what is needed and how they are run intoing or non run intoing these demands together. This theoretical account identifies six primary classs or manner of assisting intercession and they are Perceptive, Informative, Confronting, Catalytic, Cathartic and supportive. In supervising enable and authorise the staff to take decision-making. For illustration, a supervisor meets staff for supervising. The supervisor is normally the facilitator and uses a catalytic manner of assisting the staff. However the supervisor is presently concern that the staff may be doing unfamiliar determinati ons provide some information and attempts to assist to understand the issue and hope to alter the program. Covey ( 1999 ) concludes that a confronting manner is now appropriate and to accomplish a better result for the staff to put up another meeting and fix on what to state and asked to face the issue ( Table 2 ) . Authoritative Prescriptive Give advice and counsel State the other individual how they should act State them what to make Enlightening Give you view and experience Explain the background and rules Help the other individual get a better apprehension Confronting Challenge the other individual s thought Play back precisely what the individual has said or done State them what you think is keeping them back Help them avoid doing the same error once more Facilitative Cathartic Help the other individual express their feelings or frights Sympathize with them Catalytic Ask inquiries to promote fresh thought Promote the other individual to bring forth new options and solutions Listen and sum up, and listen some more Supportive State the other individual you value them ( their part, good purpose or accomplishments ) Praise them Show them they have your support and committedness Decision: In decision, there are some impacts on my work which are involved in support, supervising and staff development. In my professional pattern, 1s demands to foremost be able to pull off for themselves. What was the impact for me is a supervising procedure it empowers me to develop my accomplishments, development and assurance to actuate me in a occupation. What impacts me more is the assessment because it s identifies my strengths and failings in my occupation place as a support worker encourages both the administration an chance to supply more preparation and to mind of up-to-date policies makes you experience that you are portion of the squad and you are presenting a service. In footings of theories used I can recognize the NAMOI theoretical account is now going clear to me has helped me identified theories and turn to it more in pattern. Using Hero s theoretical account is use and I can place this in supervising when the marks are non met. At is indispensable to hold confidentiality because all notes are kept firmly and the boundaries in supervising session is good formal helps me to reflect on the what I have learnt, to prosecute more and critically measure more that I have underpinning cognition of theoreticians and other patterns. The assessment should see the undermentioned things before the meeting such as accomplishments and countries for betterment during last meeting, read through the supervising notes throughout the twelvemonth, have look into the identified development demands for the valuator and garner other people s feedback. Have the assurance to incorporate the theory and pattern and to demo that reexamining the pattern in theory anti-oppressive pattern is embedded The theoreticians theoretical accounts are most related to pattern in my function as lodging support worker are those of Kadushin theoretical account of supervising, and Thompson because it helps me concentrate on the marks and public presentation indexs on equality, diverseness and authorization. Using Kadushin s model of supervising is a utile tool oversees the work of supervising in an administrative, supportive ( 1992 ) province the maps theoretical account of supervising as the treble instruction, disposal and support theoretical account besides works for non-managerial supervising. Kadushin s model oversee the plants of supervising in administrative, supportive and educational attack is in line with a policy construction. However it can overlap with these elements identifies the work loads all marks to accomplish and without one component it become less effectual to make the occupation. So holding these policies and processs it is of import to protect the administration, staff to work together and besides high spots believes policies. Having these policies and processs it is of import to protect both staff and the administration to be supervised in their work which has been highlighted for pull offing staff in support and public presentation. Appraisal is a recorded in appraisal for staff public presentation and development demands helps the staff member to organize an nonsubjective position of their past public presentation every bit good as encourage better public presentation in the hereafter. This system provides a opportunity to discourse their marks and public presentation of ways to better. This procedure is like an exercising that identifies some concerns that need to be addressed one time a month is dealt in a formal attack is clip for the staff to turn to their demands. This is besides an chance to measure staff motive degrees within the administration and for the hereafter. The assessment is a procedure that considers the undermentioned things before run intoing such as accomplishment and it was for betterment during the last meeting. Reading through the supervising notes throughout the twelvemonth and looking at the identified development demands for the assessment to garner other people s feedback. It is of i mport to incorporate the theory and pattern and to demo that reexamining the pattern in theory anti-oppressive pattern is embedded. My larning about supervising since analyzing this faculty in managing has been positive for me because it shows the assurance to place my strengths and failing within the workplace and besides to turn to these issues to my supervisor before issues are raised to accomplishing best public presentation in supervising.
